Monochrome Color Pop

Missed last week's PTI MIM, but was determined to play along this week.  I don't have my laptop in spite of the repair shop saying "Wednesday at the latest"--not a happy camper!  The pc is set up for hubby & gives me eye & neck strain if I'm on for more than a few minutes.  All day to write one post!
Anyway--the Garden Guild cover plate does take some work to cut, so I haven't used it much.  It really is beautiful & I love how it looks die cut from Cocoa Bean.  The individual leaves are die cut from Fine Linen & everything is attached to a Classic Kraft panel. The word from Don't Forget to Write is die cut 3 times from Melon Berry & is covered with Wink of Stella.
The stamped words are from that kit, too.  I started to add some bling, but decided to leave it as is.  I'm also entering HLS Anything Goes with Dies, Die Cut Divas & Word Art Wednesday. Thanks for your patience as I slowly get to your blogs.  Next week should be much better.

  6. This is a gorgeous card and I love the cocoa bean on kraft. It's a lovely contrast. The bright pink is a pretty touch of color. I hope your computer comes home soon. I hate it when they get sick. Hope Fritz is doing well now and back to his normal diet.

  17. Beautiful card Greta! I'm sorry about your laptop... I do hope you get it back soon ... I'm so glad I have my son to fix things. I was so soryy to hear about your fur baby too ... I do hope that he is on the mend, it's so heartbreaking... Pat looked after her son's dog a lot and he died last week so it's been very upsetting. Have a great weekend...xxx

  24. Oh my Gretha;such a lovely way to use that cover plate! I love the details but I do believe it's a challenge to get a decent die cut. So many details and the risk of tearing when you get it out of the die. Your card has an legant touch; I love it. Hope your laptop is now up and running again!

  25. Oh, Greta, such a stunning card! Love that cover plate as details are worth the effort. Great color choice and the WOS adds that bit of shine. Sorry to hear about your laptop delay as I know how frustrating that can be.
